Well first off, you can't beat home made corn tortillas. The meat was all marinated amazingly. Salsa options have actual spice. Very impressed, definitely recommend.

Excellent fresh corn tortillas. Stopped by for lunch and the food was great. I had the chicken, steak and chorizo tacos. Good taste and added some salsa and pico de gallo from the salsa bar. No street parking available but there is a paid lot across the street. Gluten free friendly.

So, so good. The freshest and most authentic tacos we’ve had in SD. Really generous portions and super friendly staff. I appreciated the GF sign right upfront so we didn’t have to ask. Handmade tortillas, made right in front of you.

Having moved out of San Diego a few years back I have been craving some authentic tacos with all that flavor and the price was lowest around. The service was 10/10 and the food was even better. Made me feel right at home as well.

Excellent tacos, good and friendly service. Between the two of us we had 5 different tacos; 2 x Grilled Fish 1 x breaded shrimp 1 x hard shell beef 1 x pastor 1 x shredded pork All were excellent, I personally loved my Pastor best and my wife loved her bread shrimp best. Want to come back and try the rest of them soon!

Absolutely Must-Visit Tacos in San Diego! We were in San Diego for a wedding and ended up eating at Mission Baja Tacos at least four times—they were that good! The tortillas are made fresh on the spot, and the meat is cooked to order, which makes a huge difference. Everything we tried was super tasty, but the carne asada and birria tacos were the real standouts. The birria was so juicy and flavorful that you don't even need consome—it’s that good on its own. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. Mission Baja has officially become a go-to for us, and I’ll be stopping there every time I’m in San Diego. Highly recommend!

They cook the tortillas right in front of you so you know you’re getting the real deal here. I tried a trio of tacos and all were really fresh. You have to get the shrimp one; they are huge and flavorful. Add some of the salsa verde and you can’t beat it. Give it a try!
